Architects and Specifiers have been asking us for American Red Oak stairs for years but the cost has been prohibitive in the past. American Red Oak is very close to Victorian Ash in colour. Red Oak’s distinctive grain and popularity makes the stair a valuable feature in any new home.

To give architects, builders and developers these features and at a cost below other stair products on the market we developed stair treads using a solid substrate core and a thick 4mm American Red Oak Laminate surface layer. The surface can be re-sanded and re-polished 3-5 times during its life span. American Red OAk is one of a few timbers which is able to take stains without having colour variations associated with more porous timbers.
